Crouch walked onto the pitch alongside a player from Farnham Town, a non-league team. The sight was humorous, as Crouch’s tall frame (over 2 meters) made him look much larger than the player he was with.
In addition to being a mascot, Crouch participated in halftime events. He played as a goalkeeper in a penalty shootout and attempted to hit the crossbar from a distance to win a free drink for fans, but he narrowly missed.
