Manchester City player Phil Foden paid tribute to boxing icon Ricky Hatton, who recently passed away at 46. Foden visited Hatton’s home carrying a bouquet and his signed shirt, as shown in photos from the Splash agency.
Accompanied by his partner Rebecca Cooke, Foden stopped by Hatton’s house, where fans had been leaving flowers and gifts to honor the boxer. Phil added his own flowers and a signed jersey, along with a card that read: “There’s only one Ricky Hatton. Rest in peace. Phil.”
“Phil came round very quietly — no fanfare, just to pay his respects. The whole family was moved by the gesture, and the way Phil did it. Ricky would have been so proud,” a source close to the Hatton family said.

It’s important to mention that Hatton was a lifelong Manchester City supporter, and the club made efforts to honor him. Foden noted that the team dedicated their win in the Manchester derby to Hatton.
