Pirates Celebrate Big: Discover the Winnings of MTN8 Champions

Orlando Pirates have won the MTN8 Cup for the fourth time in a row. They defeated Stellenbosch in the final.

The match ended in a draw after regular time, but the Pirates took charge in extra time. Substitutes Tshepang Moremi and Tshegofatso Mabasa scored to secure the win.

Along with the trophy, the Pirates earned 10 million rand, while all other teams, including the runners-up Stellenbosch, received 1 million rand each.

The MTN8 Cup is held every year among the top eight teams from the previous South African Premiership season. The club with the most wins is Kaizer Chiefs, who have claimed the trophy 15 times.
