Pirates coach Ouaddou applauds management
Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has made a strong impression in Soweto by winning the MTN8 title.
The French-Moroccan coach has set a club record with eight consecutive wins, including eight clean sheets.
Ouaddou has also steered Pirates into the CAF Champions League preliminary second round qualifiers. In the first round, Pirates defeated Lesotho Premier League champions Lioli FC with a 7-0 aggregate score.
“I didn’t change anything; I just trusted the work I’m doing, the values I put into my work, the love I give to my job and my players. The trust of my club is also important because without the trust of management and the board, it’s difficult,” Ouaddou explained to reporters.
