Porto is leading in Portugal, with a five-point lead over defending champions Sporting Lisbon.

The team has won nine out of ten games in all competitions and remains unbeaten in the Primeira Liga this season. Recently, they celebrated a 3-0 victory against Alverca, marking their seventh consecutive league win.

Real Madrid wrapped up the year with a 2-0 win over Sevilla, showcasing their recent good form. Jude Bellingham scored the first goal, followed by a penalty from Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe’s goal tied Cristiano Ronaldo’s club record for the most goals in a single calendar year (59), setting him up for a strong year ahead.

Lens enjoyed their seventh consecutive victory over the weekend while also advancing in the French Cup. They convincingly defeated fourth-tier SC Feignies 3-1 in the Round of 64.

7. Atletico Madrid ⬆️ (last week: 8)

Atletico Madrid heads into the winter break with solid performances, achieving their fourth consecutive win at Girona. Koke, Conor Gallagher, and Antoine Griezmann all contributed to the scoring, lifting the team to third in La Liga.

6. Paris Saint-Germain ⬆️ (last week: 7)

Paris Saint-Germain took their French Cup match against fifth-tier Vendée Fontenay Foot seriously, securing a 4-0 win with many of their star players participating.

Coach Luis Enrique was particularly pleased to see Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue score after their recent returns.

Aston Villa currently boasts the best form among the top teams in Europe, winning all their last ten matches. This is their first time achieving such a feat in over a hundred years.

Sitting third in the Premier League, just three points shy of the leaders, Villa is making a case for a title challenge. Only Arsenal and Manchester City have amassed more Premier League points than them over the past year.

Barcelona passed a tough test with a 2-0 victory over Villarreal, who had been on a six-game winning streak in La Liga and were undefeated at home for nine months.

This match marked Villarreal’s first time failing to score at home since April and ended a run of 14 home games without a loss.

3. Manchester City (No change)

Manchester City is dominating their matches with ease. After a challenging match against Fulham last month, they have kept four clean sheets in five consecutive wins.

While Arsenal continues to be a favorite for the Premier League, their recent matches have not fully reassured fans. Yet, this may also be the mark of a future champion.

Bayern Munich heads into the Christmas break at the top of the Power Rankings. The Bundesliga leaders achieved a convincing 4-0 win against Heidenheim, with goals from Michael Olise, Harry Kane, and Luis Diaz.

They hold a nine-point lead, making the Bundesliga look like a straightforward race.
