The Portuguese club has confirmed the transfer.
Details: Porto’s press service has announced the arrival of 25-year-old central defender Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal in London and the Polish national team.
Kiwior will play for Porto on a one-year loan. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the club has the option to purchase the defender for €17 million, plus a percentage of any future sale.
Kiwior joined Arsenal from Italian club Spezia for €20 million in 2023. He has played 68 matches, scoring 3 goals and providing 6 assists, but did not secure a regular starting position. His current market value is around €28 million, as per Transfermarkt.
Reminder: Porto recently turned down a significant offer for an 18-year-old talent.
