The Premier League and English Football League will allow breaks for Muslim players to break their fast during Ramadan.

Ramadan starts on Tuesday evening and continues until March 18th. Muslims observe fasting from dawn until sunset during this time.

Authorities in the Premier League and Football League will provide pauses in the game to let Muslim players break their fast.

With sunset in the UK occurring between 5pm and 7pm during Ramadan, these pauses will affect matches scheduled for Saturday evenings (5:30 pm kickoff) and Sunday afternoons (4:30 pm kickoff).

According to the BBC, officials and club captains will identify a suitable moment to pause play for players to break their fast.
