After the international break, the Premier League will return next week with Liverpool looking to get closer to the title. However, two consecutive defeats have ruined their potential to create a historic season. Now, the Reds must focus on maintaining their top position with Arsenal still mathematically having a chance, although their chances are getting slimmer.

Manchester United travel to Nottingham Forest looking to extend their unbeaten run to five games. Ruben Amorim, who has been out of the spotlight for a while, remains under pressure to improve his team’s performance.

Meanwhile, United’s minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe recently revealed the club’s internal conditions, including poor player performance and financial challenges. Further changes appear to be needed to restore the Red Devils’ glory.

Arsenal Eye Hugo Ekitike As Alexander Isak Alternative

Arsenal are in the market for a new striker and have now turned their attention to Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike after failing to land Alexander Isak. With Newcastle demanding £150m for Isak, the Gunners are considering Ekitike as a more realistic option.

The young French striker has been in scintillating form in the Bundesliga, scoring 19 goals this season, including a hat-trick for France’s Under-21s against England. Several Premier League clubs are also interested in him, with Frankfurt reportedly set to demand around £60m if they are to sign him.
