An eight-man shortlist has been announced.
The new Premier League season started in August, and three rounds of matches have taken place. It’s now time to choose the standout player of the last month.
Details: Eight players from various clubs are nominated. Liverpool has two players: Dominik Szoboszlai and new signing Hugo Ekitike. Everton’s Jack Grealish is also included, along with Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Chelsea forward João Pedro, and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.
Voting is open until 1:00 p.m. CET on Monday, September 8.
The public votes will be combined with input from a panel of football experts to select the winner, who will be revealed on Friday, September 12.
Reminder: Following Szoboszlai’s impressive free-kick in the 83rd minute, Arne Slot’s team achieved a new club record for consecutive Premier League matches with goals.
