Premier League names winners of Goal and Save of the Month for September
A look back at the highlights of the past month.
With club football on hold, the Premier League has revealed the winners of the Goal and Save of the Month for September.
Details: Arsenal midfielder Martín Zubimendi won Goal of the Month for his impressive strike in the match against Nottingham Forest, leading to a 3–0 win for the Gunners.
For Save of the Month, the Premier League recognized Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma for his excellent save during the Manchester derby against United, which ended in a 3–0 victory for the Citizens.
Also, 25-year-old Manchester City forward Erling Haaland was named Player of the Month, and Crystal Palace head coach Oliver Glasner was awarded Manager of the Month.
Reminder: Arsenal is exploring the option of playing home matches at Wembley Stadium while their current home, the Emirates Stadium, undergoes major renovations.
