PSG is making the whole of Europe fear with an impressive series of matches in recent times. “The French rich guy” is unbeaten in the last 24 matches, including the past 6 consecutive victories in all competitions. In Ligue 1, PSG won 7, and drew 1 after the first 8 rounds, thereby stagnating at the top of the rankings.Â
Despite being so impressive, the performance of PSG is quite mediocre. Specifically, they won 4 and lost 4 in the last 8 matches in Ligue 1. Even though they pocketed all 6/6 maximum points in 2 matches against Brest and Lyon, PSG lost the bet. The reason is that the handicapping challenge for them is too high.
And the match against Nice on the morning of October 2 was no exception. To successfully overcome the bet, PSG needs to win by 3 goals. This is not an easy task for PSG in the context that stars like Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe have just spent a lot of energy with their national teams.
Not to mention, in the middle of next week, PSG will be Benfica’s guest in the C1 Cup. In order to complete the goal of leaving Portugal with 3 points, coach Christophe Galtier could not help but have a plan in terms of personnel when PSG welcomed Nice.
If someone is still “attached” to PSG, one more important piece of information needs to be known. Nice is the team that was unbeaten in all 3 matches against PSG last season, including 2 matches in Ligue 1 and 1 match in the National Cup. They even kept a clean sheet in all of the above 270 minutes
