Novak Djokovic revealed his favorite between PSG and Inter Milan to win the 2025 UEFA Champions League.
The soccer world is gearing up for the 2025 UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, May 31, where PSG will take on Inter Milan in Munich. But it’s not just soccer fans buzzing with excitement. Tennis superstar Novak Djokovic has also weighed in, revealing his pick to lift the coveted trophy.
Currently in Paris competing in the Roland Garros and chasing his 25th Grand Slam title, Djokovic has been immersed in the vibrant atmosphere created by PSG fans. After his second-round win against Corentin Moutet, the Serbian legend didn’t shy away from sharing his support for PSG in the upcoming showdown.
“I want PSG to win the Champions League final—sorry, Inter, but I’m a big Milan fan,” said Djokovic, the winner of 24 Grand Slam titles, citing his allegiance to AC Milan as the reason behind his preference.
While Djokovic is famously a Red Star Belgrade supporter in his home country, his love for AC Milan has been well-documented. The tennis icon has attended several Milan matches, including the 2023 Champions League semifinal derby against Inter. He even received a personalized, autographed Milan jersey as a birthday gift from the team.
Back in 2014, during the Shanghai Open, the Milan squad attended one of Djokovic’s matches. Djokovic later expressed his admiration for the club, sharing on social media: “I’m a big fan of Milan, and I’ll always be. For me, soccer is second only [to] tennis. My father was a professional footballer, and at home, we always watch the Rossoneri’s games with great interest”.

According to reports from the Italian outlet La Repubblica and ESPN, AC Milan majority owner Gerry Cardinale considered hiring Djokovic as a mental coach for the team.
The idea was to leverage Djokovic’s legendary mental toughness to assist players facing personal or career challenges. However, the club ultimately didn’t pursue the proposal, opting instead to rely on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who serves as a personal advisor and liaison between the players and management.
