Pule Mmodi is facing criticism from former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye, who claims Mmodi hasn’t delivered quality performances for the team.
This comment followed Chiefs’ 1-0 defeat to Angola’s Kabuscorp in the CAF Confederation Cup opener in Luanda last Saturday. “As a coach, after losing 3-1 and playing Mmodi, you see he gave us nothing,” Khanye said on DiskiTV.

“[Nasreddine] Nabi kept playing this guy for about 10 games straight. What does he bring? Nothing! No contributions in the box, no shots. It’s negative.
“He’s always the one having to track back. I’m not sure,” Khanye added.
Mmodi has not scored or assisted in five matches this season. Last year, he netted four goals and made one assist in 24 appearances.
