Rabiot Earns a Lower Salary Than His Time at OM

Adrien Rabiot has agreed to lower his salary to return to Serie A and reunite with his former coach Massimiliano Allegri. Having earned over €5 million per year at Olympique de Marseille, the French midfielder has signed a three-year contract with AC Milan, which, while less lucrative, offers stability until 2028. This move allows him to regain prominence in Italy and play a central role in the team, despite a pay cut compared to what he could have earned in France.

To offset the pay reduction, Rabiot’s contract includes several performance-related bonuses. He can earn additional income with bonuses for victories in Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana, or Serie A, providing a significant opportunity for extra earnings, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. With 20 titles already won at the club level, Rabiot aims to enhance his Italian career while ensuring a key role under Allegri.
