Hearts, leading the Scottish Premiership, will face Rangers at Tynecastle Park this Sunday.
Hearts have a six-point lead, while Rangers sit in fourth place, nine points behind. This match is crucial for Rangers as they aim to narrow the gap and keep their title hopes alive.
Rangers recently secured a vital 1-0 win against Hibernian thanks to a goal from Emmanuel Fernandez.
They are currently on a nine-match unbeaten streak in the league, although their last league loss was to Hearts in their previous meeting.
Rangers will be missing several players due to injuries, including Bailey Rice, Derek Cornelius, John Souttar, Nedim Bajrami, Oliver Antman, and Rabbi Matondo. Midfielder Lyall Cameron is also out.
Striker Bojan Miovski is uncertain to play after limping off during Rangers’ 2-1 Europa League defeat to Ferencvárosi earlier this month, but he has returned to first-team training, suggesting he is recovering well.
Head coach Danny Röhl might give Clinton Nsiala his first Scottish Premiership start this season to partner with Emmanuel Fernandez in defense. Jayden Meghoma and James Tavernier could take the full-back positions due to the defensive injuries. The team aims to continue their good form in this away match.
Possible Rangers starting XI: Butland; Tavernier, Nsiala, Fernandez, Meghoma; Barron, Raskin; Moore, Diomande, Gassama; Miovski.
The match starts at 1:30 PM BST on Sunday, December 21.
Fans in the UK can watch the match live on Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Football, and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
