Ranking the Top European Goal Scorers

This Monday marks the seventh update of the season for the European top scorers’ ranking. From Germany, England, Austria, Belgium, Scotland, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, and Turkey, many have found the net. Currently, the competition is fierce among Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappé, and Harry Kane, who have been at the top since the season began. Haaland leads the pack with a double against Bournemouth, bringing his tally to 13 goals in 10 matches.

Kylian Mbappé also scored twice against Valencia, matching Haaland with 13 goals in 11 games. Harry Kane, who has been silent for two matches, falls behind with 12 goals in 9 matches, landing him outside the top three. The Japanese player Ayase Ueda is in contention as well, tying with 13 goals in 11 matches after his double with Feyenoord against Volendam. In fifth place, Aleksey Batrakov remains stagnant with 10 goals in 14 matches but failed to score this Sunday during the defeat against Zenit (0-2).

Esteban Lepaul Joins the Top 10

Joaquin Panichelli, the first Ligue 1 player in the top 10, is currently in sixth place. After a heavy loss to Rennes while with Strasbourg, the Argentine forward now has 9 goals in 11 matches, narrowly ahead of Vangelis Pavlidis. The Greek striker from Benfica did not score against Guimaraes this weekend. Behind him, Esteban Lepaul makes his entrance into the rankings with a hat trick against Strasbourg, bringing his total to 8 goals in 11 matches. Ninth place is claimed by Ismael Saibari, who adds points with a double against Sittard in Feyenoord’s 5-2 victory.

Finally, the tenth position goes to Mirlind Daku from Rubin Kazan, who has scored 8 goals in 14 matches in the Russian Premier League.
