Napoli has confirmed the signing of Danish striker Rasmus Højlund. He joins the team on loan from Manchester United, where he had recently lost his starting position.
The 22-year-old will move to Naples for a fee of €6 million, with a buyout option around €44 million. This option could become mandatory if certain conditions are met, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Højlund became Napoli’s priority target after Romelu Lukaku sustained a serious thigh injury in early August. He previously played in Serie A for Atalanta before transferring to England for €75 million in the summer of 2023.
