Real Madrid beat Leganés 3-2 in a thrilling match at the Santiago Bernabéu on Saturday (29). The game was marked by two comebacks on the scoreboard.
The first half was a lively affair with Real Madrid taking the lead in the 31st minute through a Kylian Mbappé penalty. However, Leganés responded quickly to turn the game around with goals from Diego García in the 33rd minute and Dani Raba in the 40th minute.
The Merengues’ stars came out in the second half. Jude Bellingham equalised for the Merengues in the first minute and Mbappé sealed victory for the hosts with a free-kick in the 30th minute. It was the first free-kick goal of the Frenchman’s career.
