Real Madrid Eyes Sidelined Man United Starlet!

Footem.in –

Real Madrid

could make one more signing before the summer transfer window closes Monday night. They’re reportedly considering a new midfielder if Dani Ceballos heads to Marseille.

Kobbie Mainoo

from Manchester United is now on their radar.

Real Madrid Watching Young English Midfielder

While Adam Wharton was previously linked to the club, a recent report from the Daily Mail says Real Madrid are now monitoring

Manchester United

youngster Kobbie Mainoo.

The 20-year-old is also apparently drawing interest from their city rivals, Atletico Madrid. Mainoo’s role at Old Trafford has diminished over the past year.

Real Madrid already has two English players in their squad: Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Adding Mainoo could make the club even more appealing to young English talent, especially since Atleti also has players from the English league in their main team.

Loan Offer Considered

Both Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are reportedly considering a loan move for Mainoo for one season.

However, Manchester United is thought to be against letting the midfielder leave on loan, as their plan is to keep him.

Mainoo made a big impact when he broke into Man United’s first team in the 2023/24 season, but his progress has been somewhat disappointing since then.

New coach Ruben Amorim doesn’t see him as a player who will get regular playing time, increasing the chances of a move before the transfer window closes.

Waiting for Concrete Steps from Madrid or Atleti

It remains to be seen if Real Madrid or Atletico will make a real move to sign Mainoo before the deadline.

This situation will definitely be watched closely, as the young player has great potential but is looking for a way out of his difficulties at Old Trafford.
