A potential reinforcement.
Real Madrid is looking at options to improve their central defence, now considering a defender from Borussia Dortmund.
Details: As reported by Bild, the “Royal Club” is exploring a possible deal for Nico Schlotterbeck, who is under contract with Dortmund until the summer of 2027.
Recently, it was also noted that Barcelona views Schlotterbeck as their top defensive target. The German centre-back has returned to form after recovering from a serious knee injury and is back in the starting lineup.
Schlotterbeck joined Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, with a contract lasting until 2027. He made his debut for the team on August 6 against Bayer Leverkusen.
Reminder: Borussia Dortmund’s 20-year-old central midfielder Jobe Bellingham is looking to leave the club due to limited playing time. Reports suggest he is unhappy with head coach Niko Kovač.
