Real Madrid Set to Bring Back Former Academy Star Next Year

The attacking midfielder, a product of Real Madrid’s academy, has caught the attention of several top clubs in Europe, particularly Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Madrid still holds a buy-back clause and a percentage of future sales, giving them significant control over Paz’s future and helping them reject other clubs’ offers.

Real Madrid Plans to Reunite with Nico Paz

According to AS, Paz’s future plan is set: succeed now at Como, then achieve glory with Real Madrid later.

Los Blancos have assured the player that he is part of their plans for 2026 and intend to re-sign him using a buy-back clause valued at €9 million.

Real Madrid currently holds all the cards, retaining 50% of his rights after selling the other half for €6 million to Como last year and having several buy-back options.

These options include €8 million to bring him back this summer, €9 million if they recall him in 2026, and €10 million if they do so in 2027.

The chosen path is the second one, with a payment of €9 million planned for next summer to reintegrate Nico Paz into the first team.

Como will receive €3 million and will enjoy two years with the talented young player, while Paz will return to Spain as a more mature player, closer to the level needed at Real Madrid.

On his part, Nico has always stated that he dreams of returning to Madrid and achieving success at Santiago Bernabeu.

Unless something drastic occurs, plans are already in place for the Argentine international to return to Real Madrid next year.
