Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has revealed he thought about ending his professional football career.
“After the second knee injury, I had a lot on my mind. I considered quitting football, but thanks to the help from my wife, daughter, and teammates, I am here today and playing well. It has been a difficult two years with two very serious injuries,” Militao said, as reported by Diario AS.

So far this season, the 27-year-old Brazilian has appeared in seven games across all competitions and has scored one goal.
Militao’s current contract with the club runs until mid-2028. According to information from Transfermarkt, the player’s market value is estimated at 30 million euros.
