Malappuram: Registration has begun for a sports seminar being held in Malappuram on November 2 and 3. The seminar is part of the state government’s Vision 2031 initiative and is organized by the State Sports Department.
The two-day event will include various seminars at the Rose Lounge and an exhibition at the MSP Ground.
The seminar will be attended by national and international athletes, coaches, physical education teachers, university students, and journalists from across the state.
State Sports Council President U. Sharafali inaugurated the registration process by formally accepting the registration from Dr. V.P. Sakir Hussain, Head of the Department of Physical Education at the University of Calicut.
Malappuram District Sports Council President P. Hrishikesh Kumar presided over the function. Former District Police Chief U. Abdul Karim IPS explained the project. Sports Council Vice President M. Narayanan, Secretary V.R. Arjun, Municipal Councilor C. Suresh, U. Thilakan, Mujeeb Thanalur, M. Surendran, K.A. Nasar, K. Anil, and Muhammed Yasir also spoke at the event.
