Every journey has its conclusion.

Augusto started his football career in the youth team of Flamengo and quickly moved up to the first team. In 2008, Bayer Leverkusen purchased him for €5 million, which was a significant amount at the time. He later played for Corinthians and Beijing Guoan in China.
