Rennes teenager Mohamed Kader Meite has agreed to join Al-Hilal.
Al-Hilal will pay around €30 million for the 18-year-old, who has netted three goals in 17 Ligue 1 matches this season.
Chelsea and Manchester United had shown interest in the player this season but will miss out as he moves to Al-Hilal.
Chelsea was active in chasing him and spoke to Rennes about deals for both Kader Meite and his teammate Jeremy Jacquet.
While Chelsea is still trying to secure Jacquet before Monday’s deadline, they have not met the £55 million asking price set by Rennes.
Meanwhile, Kader Meite has opted for the Saudi Pro League, believing that joining Al-Hilal and working with Simone Inzaghi is the right step for his career, according to Fabrizio Romano.
