The 2026 World Cup will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada in less than nine months. While the roster of 48 teams is still being finalized, ticket prices for the final at MetLife Stadium have reportedly been disclosed.

FIFA has announced that ticket sales will occur in phases, starting with a group of fans who won the initial lottery, allowing them early access to the prices which are now public.

The final will be held at MetLife Stadium, which can accommodate 82,500 spectators. There will be four categories of tickets, with prices varying from high to low. The leaked prices are as follows:

  • Category 2 (available in both lower and upper stands): $4,210
  • Category 3 (mainly in the upper stands): $2,790
  • Category 4 (outside prime sections, in upper stands): $2,030

When do tickets go on sale?

The first phase of ticket sales started on Wednesday, October 1, and is for Visa cardholders only. This phase allows for ticket purchases for all 104 matches, along with venue-specific and team-specific packages.

The second phase will occur from October 27–31. This stage will include a registration period followed by a lottery to allocate tickets, and it will not be limited to Visa customers.

A third sales phase will happen shortly after the final tournament draw, where fans can apply for tickets to specific matches once most of the group stage fixtures are confirmed. Finally, any remaining tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis as the tournament approaches.
