The news was confirmed by journalist Jose Armando, who, through his official X (formerly Twitter) account, reported this important decision made by two of the biggest stars for the Herons in MLS.

“Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba have not traveled to Austin, Texas for the All-Star Game. They will miss tonight’s match. The decision regarding their availability for the match against Cincinnati is still pending. Efforts continued until this morning.” the reporter stated.
