The New England Revolution traded forward Tomas Chancalay to Minnesota United on Friday for $100,000 and a share of any future transfer fees for the player.
Chancalay was initially loaned to the Revolution from Argentina’s Racing Club in July 2023. He became a permanent player in November of the same year, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in 49 games over parts of three seasons (33 starts).
During the 2025 season, he recorded four goals and two assists in 26 matches (12 starts).
“On behalf of the Revolution, I’d like to thank Tomas for his contributions during his time with our club,” said sporting director Curt Onalfo. “We wish him and his family all the best as he starts this next chapter with Minnesota.”
