Tottenham has changed its stance on Richarlison’s future as two Premier League clubs show interest before the January transfer window.
Richarlison’s position at Tottenham Hotspur has been debated for some time, as Thomas Frank assesses his forward options.
The Brazilian has been the primary striker for Frank since the beginning of Spurs’ pre-season tour. Dominic Solanke’s ongoing ankle problems have worked to Richarlison’s benefit. With Solanke sidelined for months, Richarlison has taken on the responsibility of scoring goals for the team.
Despite facing criticism for inconsistency, the 28-year-old has regained his scoring form recently, finding the net five times in his last nine matches. He came off the bench to make a notable impact against Liverpool on Saturday, scoring a goal during a scramble, although it was just a consolation in Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat in north London.
