In the first round of the Champions League, Liverpool faced Atletico at Anfield. Young talent Rio Ngumoha made his Champions League debut for the Reds, setting a new record for the club.

Details: At just 17 years and 19 days old, midfielder Rio Ngumoha became the youngest player in Liverpool’s history to compete in this prestigious tournament.

This marked only his third appearance for the senior team, and he has already scored one goal against Newcastle.
