Rodman Rejoins USWNT for January Training Camp

Trinity Rodman will join the United States as they begin their first training camp of the year at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. Rodman, who faced injuries in 2025, is among 26 players selected for the camp, which will feature friendly matches against Paraguay on January 24 and Chile on July 27.

All players in the camp are from the NWSL, but Rodman is listed as unaffiliated because she has been without a contract since January 1. She has played her entire career with the Washington Spirit, but a proposed new contract was rejected by the NWSL. Players from Gotham were unavailable for selection ahead of their upcoming trip to England for the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.

Four players—Maddie Dahlien, Riley Jackson, Sally Menti, and Reilyn Turner—received their first call-ups to the senior team. Jordan Silkowitz, a goalkeeper from Bay FC, is also included but has not played in a match yet, although she has been part of a camp before. Half of the players in this camp made their senior debuts in 2025.

“This roster allows our coaching staff to assess players and gives some NWSL players, who have not been featured as much in the national team, an opportunity to show their potential for 2026 and beyond,” said head coach Emma Hayes. “We are looking forward to having additional training days in this camp and two matches to observe more of the player pool in action, which will help us build depth for the 2026 SheBelieves Cup roster.”

Tara McKeown, a defender from the Spirit, recently married and will now play as Tara Rudd. She was not included in the October matches. Yazmeen Ryan from the Dash returns after missing selection in October.
