Spanish midfielder Rodri thinks the Ballon d’Or should go to either Dembélé or Vitinha.

Details: Rodri, the Ballon d’Or winner, expressed his views on the potential candidates for the award. The Manchester City player mentioned that while he would like his fellow Spaniards Lamine Yamal or Pedri to win, he acknowledged the impressive seasons of the PSG players.

Rodri identified Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha as the top contenders, stating they deserve to be in the running based on their achievements.

“I support Yamal and Pedri for personal reasons, but based on results, it’s really between Dembélé and Vitinha,” he said.

Rodri also reflected on his own Ballon d’Or victory, mentioning that it greatly helped him during his recovery from a serious injury. He is currently focused on getting back to his best form and enjoying the game.
