Real Madrid player Rodrygo Goes recently shared a nostalgic moment from his childhood at Santos. He uploaded an old photo of himself with a young Neymar on Instagram.

In the image, a young Rodrygo is seen on the pitch alongside Neymar, who was still with Santos before moving to Europe. Rodrygo included a teary-eyed emoji with the post, while Neymar added a winking emoji and a heart when he shared it.

Both players came up through the Santos academy, but Neymar, who is nine years older, began his career earlier. Rodrygo joined the Peixe youth team in 2017, after Neymar had already transferred to PSG from Barcelona for a record €222 million.

Currently, Rodrygo plays for Real Madrid, while Neymar has returned to Santos, looking to regain his fitness after multiple injuries.
