In the third round of the Saudi Pro League, Al-Nassr faced Al-Riyadh.
Star player Cristiano Ronaldo returned to the starting lineup after missing the AFC Champions League match against Istiklol from Tajikistan. Previously, Al-Nassr won that match 5-0, and on September 20, they scored another five goals against Al-Riyadh.
Ronaldo scored in the first half, finishing a pass from João Félix, and added another goal in the second half with an assist from Kingsley Coman, leading to a 5-1 win for Al-Nassr. This season, Cristiano has four goals in five matches.
Now just 55 goals away from 1,000, the Portuguese star increased his total to 945 career goals with his latest performance against Al-Riyadh.
Importantly, Al-Nassr is now at the top of the league table, tied with Al-Ittihad, as both teams have maximum points after three matches.
