Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portugal national team are gearing up for the qualification campaign for the 2026 World Cup. The forward shared a training photo of the team on his Instagram page.
In the picture, Ronaldo is seen during a training session, running with his arms outstretched in celebration after scoring a goal.
Portugal is set to play their first away match this evening, September 6, against the Armenia national team. Their qualifying group also includes Ireland and Hungary. Portugal will face Hungary in their second match of this international break.
Earlier this summer, Portugal won the Nations League Final Four, making them champions for the second time. They are now the all-time leaders in this tournament, having first won it in 2019.
