Both players are setting records and maintaining their status as top goal-scorers in soccer history. Currently, Ronaldo holds a clear lead over Messi in this ambitious goal tally.
Cristiano Ronaldo has an outstanding career filled with trophies and goals. He now has 950 career goals and is just 50 away from the unprecedented 1,000-goal milestone, a record unmatched in modern soccer.

Ronaldo’s performance at Al Nassr
After leaving Manchester United in 2022, Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines by signing with Al Nassr on December 30, a move that boosted the visibility of the Saudi Pro League.
Now in his third season with the team, Ronaldo has played 113 matches for Al Nassr, scoring 106 goals and providing 21 assists.
Despite his impressive scoring rate, he has not yet won a league title with Al Nassr. In the current Saudi Pro League season, he has appeared in eight games, scoring seven goals and assisting two times.
Messi’s achievements at Inter Miami
Since joining Inter Miami in mid-2023 after his time at PSG, Lionel Messi has played in 82 official matches, scoring 71 goals and providing 37 assists, winning two titles: the 2023 Leagues Cup and the MLS Supporters’ Shield.
This season, Messi has scored 39 goals and made 19 assists across all competitions, including MLS matches, the Concacaf Champions Cup, Club World Cup, Leagues Cup, and the MLS Cup Playoffs. He also secured the 2025 MLS Golden Boot with 29 goals and is a strong contender for the MVP, potentially becoming the first player to win it consecutively.
