Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior is looking forward to facing Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
The match will take place in the Round of 16, following Friday’s draw. Rosenior has previously managed in France at Strasbourg, making PSG a familiar opponent.
He mentioned that this matchup is exactly the kind of challenge he enjoys and hopes his past experience with PSG can help Chelsea succeed.
This game will also be a rematch of the Club World Cup final held last summer, where Chelsea defeated the Champions League winners 3-0, with Cole Palmer scoring twice.
“I am very excited. PSG is a strong team,” Rosenior said during a press conference before Chelsea’s upcoming Premier League match against Arsenal.
“I know them well from my time in France and have always respected them. Luis Enrique has done a great job there.

“These are the matches that make football exciting. It’s going to be a fantastic tie, but I need to keep my focus on the three matches we have before that.”
