Roy Hodgson has returned to football management at the age of 78, taking over as interim manager at Bristol City.
The club announced on Friday that Gerhard Struber has been dismissed from his role as head coach, citing “recent performances have not met expectations.”
Bristol City has struggled, failing to win any of their last six matches across all competitions. They lost five and drew one, currently sitting in 16th place in the Championship table.
