Kobbie Mainoo and Joshua Zirkzee may leave Old Trafford
Both players have not had much playing time this season, leading to speculation about their future with the team. Kobbie Mainoo has not started any Premier League matches under Amorim, with his only start being in a Carabao Cup match last August. The 20-year-old is currently sidelined due to a calf injury.
Joshua Zirkzee has also faced similar challenges, making only three starts for United across all competitions this season.
When asked about potential changes to his squad during the January transfer window, Amorim indicated that he does not expect significant activity. He stated:
“No. I don’t believe [it will be busy],” adding that any changes would likely be minor: “A few details maybe, someone else may leave or something like that.”
He also shared his thoughts on new signings: “I’ve already said to sign players; they need to improve the squad, so we don’t have big possibilities to improve our team.”
