Earlier, Slot announced he would speak with Salah, who had claimed he felt “thrown under the bus” by the club and had no “relationship” with Slot. This led to Salah being excluded from the match against Inter Milan on Tuesday, as he didn’t travel to Italy.

The English tabloid reports that Friday’s discussions were positive, and Salah is now in contention for the match against Brighton on Saturday. He hasn’t started the last four games.
