Liverpool player Mohamed Salah has shared a farewell message to his former teammate Harvey Elliott, who recently joined Aston Villa. Salah posted the message on his Instagram account.
He included several photos with Elliott and wrote a heartfelt caption.
“You will be remembered for your loyalty and dedication whenever you were needed. You leave as a champion, and I believe you will achieve great things at your new club. They are lucky to have you.”
Harvey Elliott has moved to Birmingham on a one-year loan deal. Aston Villa has the option to make the transfer permanent if Elliott plays enough matches this season.
The 22-year-old midfielder is valued at €30 million. Last season, he played 29 matches for Liverpool, scoring five goals and assisting three.
