Mohamed Salah has joined the Egyptian national team camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualification matches. He shared a photo from his individual training session on Instagram.
Salah posted a picture from the gym, where he continues to work out on his own to supplement the team’s training.
He is now with his national teammates in Egypt, where they will play the first of two qualifiers in the upcoming days.
On September 5, Egypt will host Ethiopia, and on September 9, they will face Burkina Faso away.
Egypt is currently leading their qualifying group with 16 points after six rounds, five points ahead of their nearest rivals. Two more wins would guarantee their spot in the World Cup before the end of September.
