San Diego FC midfielder Anders Dreyer has extended his contract through the 2028-29 season, as announced on Wednesday.

The new deal includes an option for the 2029-30 season, marking a significant commitment for the reigning MLS Newcomer of the Year.

“Extending Anders’ contract was a priority for us this season,” said SDFC sporting director Tyler Heaps. “He quickly demonstrated his value to the team with his performance, work ethic, and commitment both on and off the field. This extension reflects our confidence in him and our belief that he will continue to be a key player in helping us achieve our goals.”
