Sebastien Pocognoli, the manager of Monaco, has shared his insights regarding Paul Pogba’s challenging career, which includes stints at Manchester United and Juventus.
Pogba was handed a four-year ban after testing positive for banned substances while playing for Juventus, with the decision made in February 2024.
Pocognoli addressed the ban that Pogba received in February 2024 while he was still with Juventus.
This suspension followed a provisional ban issued the previous September, after tests revealed elevated testosterone levels.
A subsequent test conducted a month later also returned a positive result, confirming the suspension.
The initial ban was retroactively set to the date of the first failed test. However, it was later reduced following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in 2024.
