Antoine Semenyo made a memorable debut for Manchester City, helping the team secure a 10-1 victory over Exeter City in the FA Cup.
He joined the club for £62.5m from Bournemouth on Friday and was immediately included in the starting lineup for the FA Cup third-round match.
Manchester City displayed a commanding performance, marking the first time since 1986 that a top-flight team scored more than 10 goals in a competitive match.
Semenyo was named man of the match after scoring a goal and providing an assist to Rico Lewis.
At 26 years old, he became the first player to score and assist on his debut for City since Sergio Aguero.

Aguero was the last player to achieve this debut milestone back in August 2011 against Swansea City.
If Semenyo can come close to Aguero’s impressive records, his transfer fee will be seen as worthwhile. The January signing has certainly made a strong start.
