Antoine Semenyo has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for February.
The Manchester City winger earned this recognition after scoring three goals and providing one assist last month.
This award highlights a strong start to his tenure at the club. Semenyo transferred from Bournemouth for an initial fee of £62.5 million during the January transfer window.
He has now scored a total of 15 goals in the Premier League this season, representing both clubs, and this marks his first time winning the Player of the Month award.
Semenyo becomes the third Ghanaian player to receive this honor, following Tony Yeboah and André Ayew.
“This is a fantastic moment for me. Winning the Premier League Player of the Month award shortly after joining City is something I will always remember,” Semenyo stated on Manchester City’s official website.
“I am focused on improving and helping City achieve the best results possible. There is still much to play for, and I’m excited about the end of the season.”
