Senegal has started its World Cup preparation strong with two victories during the international break.

They faced Gambia at the Stade Abdoulaye Wade on March 31, winning the match 3-1. The first half was tense, but Abdoulaye Seck eventually scored, giving Senegal the lead just before halftime.

After the interval, Ibrahim Mbaye increased the lead in the 47th minute, and Lamine Camara added a third goal for Senegal. Gambia managed to score in the 51st minute through Omar Colley, but it was not enough to catch up.
