Details: According to Lyall Thomas from Sky Sports News, 28-year-old Spanish defender Sergio Reguilon has reached an agreement with Inter Miami and will be joining the club shortly.
The contract is believed to last until 2028.
Previously, Reguilon declined offers from La Liga and Iran’s Persepolis, which included a highly lucrative salary. He expressed a clear preference to join Inter Miami.
Reguilon transferred to Tottenham from Real Madrid in 2023 for €30 million but didn’t establish himself as a key player. He spent time on loan at clubs like Atletico Madrid, Manchester United, and Brentford. His contract with Tottenham expired this summer and was not renewed, making him a free agent.
