Former football great Alan Shearer made a light-hearted comment about the future of Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane. Shearer was asked if Kane might return to the Premier League and break his goal-scoring record.
“Will Kane break my record? I’m not worried about it at all. It’s more of a fun competition. Knowing Harry, I’m sure he wants to break my record, but I don’t know if he will stay in Germany or not. In any case, let him stay there for another two or three years!” Shearer told Betfair.
Alan Shearer is the all-time leading goal scorer in the history of the English Premier League, with 260 goals. Harry Kane is currently in second place with 213 goals. Wayne Rooney completes the top three with 208 goals.
