Jim Ratcliffe, the co-owner of Manchester United, has acknowledged that the club’s youth academy is not performing as it should.

“Our academy’s performance has declined. It needs to be producing a steady stream of talented players, which also benefits the club financially. However, this is not a quick fix that can be solved overnight. We have recently hired a new academy director,” Ratcliffe was quoted as saying by Times Sport.
